Peter Kennard

The visionary founder of Kantech, ignited the company's journey in January of 1986 with a relentless drive for innovation and a profound commitment to excellence. Originally focusing on the supply of pumps, valves, actuators, and sealing devices, Peter's keen eye for design and development propelled Kantech into rapid growth.

With unwavering dedication, Peter transformed Kantech into a prominent service provider within the water industry. His leadership led to the establishment of our expansive 1700 square meter facility in Newcastle, equipped with fully functional fabricating and machine shops. Under his guidance, our team flourished, growing to encompass 45 talented individuals.

Sadly, Peter passed away on the 19th of May 2020, leaving behind a legacy that continues to inspire us every day. Though he is no longer with us, his spirit lives on within the ethos he instilled in our culture and team members. At Kantech, we honor his memory by upholding his values of innovation, excellence, and dedication to our customers

People of integrity can be trusted. “If I trust you I know that you will not, deliberately or accidentally, consciously or unconsciously, take unfair advantage of me. I know that I can put my situation at the moment, my status and self-esteem, our relationship, my job, my career, even my life, in your hands with complete confidence.
